On our way home yesterday afternoon, on a stretch of icy Indiana road, we found ourselves slip, slip sliding away right off the road into a culvert. Then total stillness. I turned to my husband to make sure he was okay. With deep breath I offered a simple prayer “thank you!”
We’re both okay … our car, not so much.
We are truly grateful for each act of kindness and assistance we were given, and as my dear friend Linda remarked, for the angels all around.
